They were also used by the Americans on 1903 Springfields known as the Warner and Swasey Musket sight. Very collectable .

The McDonald Observatory out in the Davis Mountains in West Texas has a fairly large one built by W/S.

I have a book on the first fifty years of Warner Swasey, has some history on the telescopes they built.

A very neat place... I build the Super Nova Search Telescope and it's building back in the early 90's.
