Hello Everyone,

My shop builds guitars and we use a lot of cnc to do it. This is common for electric guitars where routing the body and neck are easy. It is difficult for acoustic, which we specialize in, because there are more parts more intricately attached. Despite the obstacles we've used cnc in many places while building. Here is an article where we go over what we've used it for so far. Check it out here: Guitar Luthier

I bought a wide belt sander from Santa Cruz guitar some years back and got a nice factory tour when I went to pick it up. I highly recomend anybody that gets a chance tour one of these shops as they do amazing things in their craft.

Thanks for the link.

My dad's been on a few tours of big factories and he picked up a lot of ideas. If we ever get down there, we'll check it out.
