Knowing When You Should Say NO to a Part - Part 3
PART 3! Just because you CAN machine the part, doesn’t mean you should.
It happens to the best of us: someone asks if you can machine a part and you say yes, before walking through what it truly entails.
Derrick Hogan, from North Georgia Technical College, is going to take us through a time when that happened to him. When asked to machine a cast brake lever, it wasn’t until relatively deep into the project that he realized he should have turned down the request.
What do you think? Was it worth taking on this project? Let us know in the comments!
