Drill/tap depth for iron sights?
I'm drilling a thinner barrel for iron sights. The barrel is .308 cal, stainless, and about .770" in diameter at the point where I'd like to put the rear sight. I figure I have about ~.231" of metal to work with between the bore and the outside of the barrel. Does anyone know how deep of a hole...- secondstoryguy
