All,

Looking to decode this 10L that I am looking at to buy.

Catalog No. K187AS

So, far, my best try, K=long nose spindle, 187=heavy 10 inch, A=4 foot bed and the S=tube bench.

I could not get a picture of the serial number and can only go by what was relayed to me email.

Serial number: 1643-3d-1045

Can't find that sequence or anything else. Might not be correct.

Any help with the serial number and did I get the catalog number correct?

Thanks,

Carl

Is probably the bench number and not the serial number.

I told him to move the tailstock towards the chuck and there would be a serial number at the end of and on top of the bed.

He appearently couldn't find it.
