Hi fellas, I just bought a 1988 Chevalier 612 surface grinder and stated to take it apart to inspect. first issue is the table ways show some wear and it appears it had been moved with the table on.(it has removable ways and the table rides on ball bearings)I'm thinking the ways could be removed and ground then shimmed to original height. Bearing assemblies should also be replaced I would think.Any thoughts.
