Happy holidays. I have been teaching myself Solid Works this month and am getting along with it, but I design in inches, not mm. I can't seem to find out where to change that. Autodesk Inventor has both inch and mm parts to start with new.
Thank You

There are two methods (maybe more, I am a SW learner too) to select the sketch units:

At the lower RH corner of the screen when you open or start a sketch, you can select IPS, MMGS, CGS or MKS.

IPS is imperial or inch units; MMKS is metric units.

Or, at the top of the screen is a "gear" icon for the "options" dropdown.

Select the "document properties" tab, then "units" on the LH side of that tab.

From here you can choose the "units" and how many decimal places, etc. are shown on your sketch.

Solidworks is a lot of fun, enjoy!

I am setup as len describes. One for imperial, with differing decimal places. One for metric. My drawing templates are separated too because the general tolerances in the title block have to be different.

It's a good habit to get into as far as SolidWorks. Once you make the template you won't forget to change something over. Helps the printer budget too.
