Trouble replacing a drop indicator mounted to a stand
We have a Fowler digital drop indicator mounted in a granite stand. The thing started acting up so I just want to replace it with a Mitutoyo. The problem is it's mounted with a lug on the back. I can't find a mitutoyo with a back lug mount. They're all flat back so I assume you mount them on the stem. I know with some you can replace the flat back with a lug back but you can't with the ones I'm looking at. Is there an adapter or something available to go from lug mount to stem mount?

It couldn't be hard to make, and maybe why you don't see them in the catalogs. A piece of stock with one hole this way for the stem one one hole that way where the lug would mount.

Why cant you find what you want here?
