  • I sold my Myers lathe to a PM member from Indianna. I believe he has a "parts" machine that he was going to use to put mine back together, mine being nearly unworn.

Replacing a tailstock is tricky. A headstock & tailstock are made as a matching pair via hand scraping of the undersides. Hence, even if you found an IDENTICAL Myers tailstock, it would not line up with your headstock. Take heart, however, they can be "scraped in" to match. Might require a lot of trial and error, but scraping classes are available through PM from time to time.

If you'll send me an e-mail address, I'll forward it to the fellow in Indianna.
