I worked in a shop that grew as most shops do but also like most shops we shoehorned our increased workload into our old work flow and management practices. We decided to get ISO certification for what turned out to be a misguided reason and I have to say I agree with the folks that have recommended compliance over certification. The process review we had to do was very helpful, but the annual certification was useless and actually a real time suck. Reviewing and streamlining your way of doing things is always a good thing, but as one poster said who knows your business better than you.
