I have a working antique lathe

Macgregor Gourlay.

Any body know anything about this thing? My dad passed away and left for me. I'm not a Machinist.
I'd also like to sell it. I'm in edmonton alberta

Not sure on value....

There are some older threads on this forum about McGregor Gourlay lathes.
This is one of them .
I think there are some others that my forum search didn't turn up .
All I have time for at the moment.

No mention of that brand on Tony's site . I see it has the auto/truck transmission in the gear train .
any chance you could get a better picture of all the gearing & belts on the left side of the lathe ? Looks like theres a steady rest , a few centers & chucks .
thanks
