In case anyone has one of these fail like I just did, It's nice to know they can be bought direct from the manufacturer. They charge $488/ea versus Haas's price of $1320. That's a nice little savings.
I'm posting this in the general CNC forum because there may be other manufacturers than Haas to use the same unit. The original PN on my '07 VF-2ss was GXA009017353, but they have been superceded by PN GFLA009028407. Use the email [email protected] to place an order.
This was passed on to me by that 'other' forum's member Doubleddaved. I couldn't find that username with a search here, but I'm pretty sure he's a member. Either way, thanks Dave!
