Looking for porting tool use advice

I haven't used one of these for years and would like opinions on my plans. These ports are going in 6061-T6 I have HSS tools coming tomorrow. I planned on roughing these out leaving .015 per side then running the tools. Would do you think of my approach and what kind of SFM would you use with the tools?
I have about 250 ports too mill.

What kind of ports?
SAE O-ring?
Hydraulic cartridge valve?
Mil. spec.?

Or maybe.....just NPT?????

I will post the specs when I go in in the A.M. I have 2 different ports. All I can say from home is one has 7/8-18 UNS threads and the other 1 1/16-16 UNC. They have an air conditioning application in aircraft. Not sure what the mill spec has to do with it or other things referencing the shape of the port. The material yes, but I'll post in the morning
