ot: a 'walking' machinery skate, used to move a Navy submarine.

Saw this and thought it was hilarious. Reminds me of the walking draglines.

Don't know why they went with this type of machinery skates, instead of an SPMT. Same Submarine builder - Navantia - also moves their subs on rails.

Most of the video is the manufacturing of Navy submarines, so jump to 1:20 to see what I am talking about. No idea who made these walking skates or if it was something specifically made for Navantia.

Think its kind of cool, the sub isn't confined to the rails and can be walked in any direction needed. you're able put a sub in the corner of the shop while something else takes priority and comes in on the rail or whatever
