My regularly used Model 9 came to me with a cracked, broken and MISSING back gear trunnion. Theres really no way to repair it, so I picked up another bare headstock. Im OK with all the alignment issues, but need some hands on disassembly help so nothing else gets forced or broken.
On that note, I am also stripping a garage find for parts. A few guys here need some back gear parts and Id like to get that all apart (again with zero bustage LOL). All my gear stuff is good, so this is a "Pay it Forward" deal.
The pics show my broken BG trunnion, and the new bare headstock AND the intact parts machine on an aluminum cart. Any help is appreciated. This thred is also shown in "garage Find SB 9 for parts" down the line here... Thanks, Bill in TR
