Hello everyone! I must admit, I am not sure if I am willing to part with this just yet.... With that said, I'd love to hear what sort of offers anyone might have for this! I've been looking for a mill for a while to add to my home shop and recently stumbled upon an early Bridgeport. It had an R head with the R8 taper so even though it was a very early example, I felt comfortable buying it. Well, to my surprise, when I got it home I realized this was Bridgeport #6! I am unsure what to do with it now as I believe it is quite a special machine. I bought it with every intention of milling with it and part of me wishes I never even looked at the serial number haha. Regardless, I am wondering if any collector might take an interest in it and be willing to offer something in exchange. Any trades would have to be brought to me in Western NY and if I were to sell it it would have to be picked up here as well. Any additional general advise is welcomed as well. Thank you everyone!
