I wanted to give a heads-up to my fellow veteran owned small businesses that you are eligible to receive federal surplus property. It is an amazing service that can help equip you with what you need. Contact your state SASP agent to get details on what is required to gain access, or just google federal surplus property for veterans, the SBA also lists SASP reps by state. Yes, it is a PITA to get into, but once you are in, it is worth it. I am headed to Ohio soon to receive a 2007 3hp Bridgeport. I look forward to competing with you all on the next item!! =) Please spread the word to any other veterans or veteran service organizations.
